It’s November 30th, the last day of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo)! I am exhausted, so forgive me if my writing doesn’t make any sense. But I have good news: I finished NaNoWriMo!
Technically, at least. I didn’t meet my goal count (or anywhere close), but I rewrote 70,000 words and the goal count for NaNoWriMo is 50,000 words, so I still count that as a win. I have 20,000 words left of the Nocturna rewrite to finish, but after that I’m free to continue Witch Haven! After I write the short story for December, which I also didn’t do. Damn.
This is a rather short update, but I wanted to tell all of you where I was writing-wise. If any of you participated in NaNoWriMo and won, congratulations! If you didn’t win, also congratulations because any amount of writing is a success in my opinion.
Anyway, if you’re not already following my blog and would like to know when I post monthly updates like these or any new short stories, remember to sign up here to get an email every time I post.
See you next time!
