Prepare yourselves now, fellow writers, because it only gets harder once you finish writing and editing your first book. Especially if you’re thinking of self-publishing. I still don’t know for sure if I am or not, but I am the type of person who likes to prepare for any type of scenario, so here I am.
In the past week, I have finished my Nocturna prequel, now named Beastly Deception, so I’ll be referring to it as that from now on. I have also taken the initiative to write a marketing proposal for Nocturna as well as a press kit, and both are very complex to write and two extremely different things, so it was hard to get into the swing of things. Especially because I hate typing up business documents. Oh well, it is what it is.
But I’ve finished Beastly Deception! I’m so happy, honestly. It took me about a month and a half and it has 26,500 words (so short, very short. Good.) since it’s only a novella, but it’s finished and now I’m ready to begin writing all the shit that’s necessary for each book all over again! …Yaaaay… Ugh. Please stop me.
